Nursing care is for an individual who requires 24 hour assistance with medical needs and personal needs. This can also include someone who needs intensive rehabilitative care.
Complex care is assessed per individual so we can understand and meet your high nursing needs.
Carers and those being cared for need a break from time to time. Respite care is a temporary living arrangement at a care home. Respite can vary from a few days to a few weeks. Respite care can also be needed after an operation or hospital stay.
Whilst Alexandra Nursing Home is not a specialised dementia care home, we do have the ability to look after residents with varying degrees of dementia or Alzheimer disease, which we can assess on a case by case basis.
The layout and location of some of our rooms together with our robust safety and security systems puts us in a unique position to consider offering a placement to residents with a variety of specific care needs.
Palliative care is for residents who are approaching end of life or for those who are living with an illness that cannot be cured. Our aim is to not only make you as comfortable as possible but to also support you to achieve the best quality of life.
